Self-taught, he began by developing a love for drawing. “When I started to paint I just played with all kinds of paints and materials, oils, pastels, watercolour and acrylics. I explored different techniques, making mistakes, experimenting and experiencing both fun and failure in my learning process” he states. Through this proceedure he developed an ability to see things and express ideas in a variety of styles, as can be seen in his current work, which ranges from the figurative to the abstract.
